The Hospital Bill Eraser program is based on the Affordable Care Act of 2010 which set forth an IRS 501r requirement that non-profit hospitals must provide free and discounted care in exchange for federal tax write-offs..
The Hospital Bill Eraser program can be offered to all individuals and will be available upon individual enrollment within our platform or through an employer to overlay current major medical plan.
Nonprofit hospitals comprise more than half of all hospitals in the United States, and many serve as centers for advancing medical research and educating health care professionals.
NO balance Billing or "Surprise" Bills.
All not-for-profit, and most are for profit hospitals participate in this program and fill gaps in the U.S. health care system and the social safety net.
Participating hospitals must provide free or reduced-price care to those who are eligible based on household income, working with other community-based organizations to connect patients with affordable housing, food, or resources for chronic-disease management.
